Azhwan's vaibhavam book in various languages.

Legend Vidwaan Sri.U.Ve.P.B.Annangarachariar swamy has already written a book in tamil, that explains Azhwan's life history clearly. The Tamil language in the book is tough to read and understand it easily; it also contains few Sanskrit words being used as it is which is also difficult to understand. With all due respects to Sri.U.Ve.P.B.Annangarachariar swamy, we decided to translate the book and write Azhwan's life history in simple tamil. We also have few upanyaasams from vidwaans that explain how Azhwan surrendered himself under the lotus feet of Sri.Ramanuja. The idea is to collect all such important notes from the existing books and upanyaasams and first write a new book in tamil. We are expecting to get around 80 pages in the book. We will translate it in various other languages like English, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada and publish the books in those languages as well. We are also planning to prepare a 30 page short book (in Tamil, English, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada) that captures the most important parts from the life history for the common public, which will become a trigger to read the big book as well. We are planning to publish 10,000 copies in tamil, 2000 in English, 1000 in each Hindi, Telugu and Kannada and distribute these books during the 1000th year festival to all the interested devotees.

Sri.U.Ve.Velukkudi Krishnan swamy has collected 10 important points from the history of Azhwan and he has given an upanyaasam on them. These points tell us on how Azhwan exhibited humanitarian qualities in his life 1000 years ago, and how we need to follow them in our day-to-day life and thereby paying tribute to Azhwan during his 1000th year. Azhwan's life history in picture (Chithiram) format.

The idea is to depict Azhwan's life history in picture format, so that everyone can understand it very easily. Sri.U.Ve.M.A.Venkatakrishan swamy has already published the picture format story in "Geethacharyan" monthly magazine during this year. We will have these pictures as the base, and we are planning to do the following.

• We are thinking of manually painting them in plywood using professional painters and frame them if the budget works out cheaper. We are looking for donors to take this job. Each picture will be of size 4 feet by 3 feet. We will have approximately 50 to 60 such pictures. We will hang these frames in the Koorathazhwan temple so that every one who visits the temple can easily run through these pictures to understand his life history. Depending upon the budget/estimate/funds, we will decide either the FLEX banner based or vinyl or plywood.
• We are also planning to release a BOOK with these pictures.

The idea is to depict Azhwan's life history in a drama format, so that everyone can understand it very easily. Sri.Paraasara BadriNarayana Bhattar swamy runs "Bhattar Kuzhaam", where lot of young, talented, sampradaayam oriented children are preparing such important Achaaryaas (like Koorathazhwan) life history in a drame format, have prepared one such script for Koorathazhwan's life history. They have already inaugurated some of their scenes during the upanyaasam that we conducted at Srirangam as part of our 1000th year celebrations.
