Appeal for Sri Koorathazhwan Nithyapadi Nidhi

1. Printing and publishing the works of Sri Koorathazhwan.
2. Release of MP3 CD of Sri Azhwan's panchastavam so that one may recite them and also learn them by rote.
3. Release of MP3 CD of Panchastava Upanyaasams.
4. Producing a documentary on Sri Azhwan's vaibhavam in DVD format.
5. Constructing a museum to commemorate Sri Azhwan & Sri Udayavar.
6. Create a corpus known as "Sri Koorathazhwan Nithyapadi Nidhi" to manage Kooram temple.
7. Create a corpus fund, viz., "Sri Koorathazhwan Nithya Thiruvaaraadhana Nidhi" to take care of Nithyapadi Thiruvaaraadhanam in his Sannidhi at Kooram.

As part of these activities, Sri.U.Ve.Velukkudi Krishnan swamy would be delivering upanyaasams on Panchastavam during the forthcoming 3 years. Upanyaasam on one of the five Stavams, "Athimaanushasthavam" has already been completed. With the grace of Thevaperumal, upanyaasam on Varadarajastavam would be delivered in Sri Devarajaswamy temple at Kanchi.

The above Trust with the support of Kinchitkaram Trust is now raising a Corpus fund to create a fixed deposit since the temple devasthanam does not get regular income from agricultural lands. The interest accruing from the FD would be used for the following Kainkaryams in Sri Koorathazhwan Sannidhi at Kooram:

1. Reasonable financial assistance for one archakar/paricharakar.
2. Reasonable financial assistance for one ThiruMadaippalli paricharakar.
3. Reasonable honorarium for Adhyapakar Swami.
4. Reasonable financial assistance for other kainkaryaparas like Maniam, Vaadhyam, Security, Maintenance, etc.,
5. Daily offerings of Pushpam, oil, etc., for nithya tiruvaaraadhanam.

Bhaktas are requested to contribute Rs. 2500/- (as an one-time payment) towards this corpus fund. As an acknowledgement, we will be giving Panchasthavam Upanyaasam MP3 CDs (approx. 18 CDs worth more than Rs. 2500/-) to all donors free of cost. Athimaanushastavam CDs (3 MP3 CDs ) would be immediately given on receipt of your contribution. CDs of other Stavams would be given in the next three years.

Interested bhaktas are requested to fill the enclosed registration form with complete details along with a cheque / DD for Rs. 2500/-, drawn in favour of "Sri Koorathazhwan Charitable Trust", payable at Chennai. Your name would be registered and all information about Sri Koorathazhwan 1000th year celebrations would be sent to you.
